Well that's what I have been doing since more than a fortnight now. I hate it when I get sick (who doesn't?) I am back to blogging after a long time now. Was away and then got sick (Still on bed rest). There are so many things I have to blog about but then my Mom won't let me sit for more than 30 minutes (Heartbreaking).

Someone should lend me a Magical wand if they have got one. I would just sway it in air and make myself healthy again. 

This wand looks pretty, anyone? :D

I miss FOOD. You know what I mean right? The Food, Food. Not the Food my mom is giving me these days :| To add, my love for Summer is also flying away day by day. What is Summer to me? the Florals, scarfs, Denim Shorts, Neon and Pastel Colors, Ice cream, Ice Gola, Water Splash, etc. But this Summer; I am trapped inside my home in my ugly Pajamas, eating "Healthy" food with occasional TV and social networking (online). This is sick! Someone make me super healthy really fast?

I also have my Convocation Ceremony next week. Got this beautiful dress from InLoveWithFashion :) Will try and do an outfit post if I am able to make it to the ceremony! *touchwood* :|

13 must-watch movies this 2013

Not that I am a movie buff but this year looks promising to make me one. In this post I list out 13 must watch movies this year, 2013. My list is a combination of both Bollywood and Hollywood movies, I hope to watch them all :D

1. Midnight's Children

Release Date: 01st Feb, 2013

Midnight's Children is a gloriously rich, sprawling story, told by a persuasive narrator, who has magical powers and a most inventive grasp of the truth. The story he tells has many sleights of hand along the way. I have read the novel "Midnight's Children" by Salman Rushdie, which makes this movie all the more interesting to me.

2. ABCD (Any Body Can Dance)

Release Date: 8th February 2013

Its the Return of the KING of Dance, Prabhu Deva.

Remember the high-on-life dance; Muqabala? Yes, its back too. ABCD: Anybody Can Dance is an upcoming Bollywood film and the first dance film of India in 3D. It is being directed by director and choreographer Remo D'Souza and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. It stars Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya in key roles. Salman Khan has a special role in this movie. You cannot miss this. Its dance and its Prabhu Deva.

3. A Good Day to Die Hard
Release Date: Valentine's. 14th February 2013

Man, I would leave everything for this movie. It keeps me on my foot, every scene and the dialogues! It is the fifth installment of the Die Hard film series and stars Bruce Willis (the reason to watch this).

4. Kai Po Che
Release Date: 22nd February 2013

Kai Po Che! is an upcoming film based on Chetan Bhagat's novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The novel was a great success and I read it too. Not that I am a big fan of this novel but the star cast of this movie looks promising. With movies like Ragini MMS, LSD, Chittagong and others; he gained a lot of appreciation and accolades. Others in starcast includes; Sushant Singh Rajput (Famous TV Actor) and Amit Sadh.

5. Mere Dad ki Maruti
Release Date: 15th March 2013

I can't wait to watch this movie; Ram Kapoor and his acting is great. Film by Aditya Chopra and yes, its a comedy. Full time pass :D

6. Iron Man 3
Release Date: April 24th, 2013

7. The Fast and Furious 6
Release Date: May 24th 2013

Fast and Furious 6 (alternatively known as The Fast and the Furious 6 or simply as Fast Six) is an upcoming action film written by Chris Morganand directed by Justin Lin. It is the sixth installment in the Fast and the Furious film series. I have seen all the movies in this franchise and they make me watch this, for all the more reasons.

8. The Hangover Part III
Release Date: May 24, 2013

The Hangover Part III is an upcoming American comedy film produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011's The Hangover Part II, and the third and final film in The Hangover franchise.
Who can miss this? Well I can't. The first two in the franchise were pure fun and full of gags! 


9. Man of Steel
Release Date: June 14, 2013

Resolutions of a 10 year old :D

First, wishing all of you a very Happy New Year 2013! :D 
I have always been excited for a new year; a new beginning and celebrations. Who doesn't fancy a new year? So people are talking about what new resolutions you have this year, are you going to dis-continue/continue with the one in 2012 or simply why resolutions?

But all I am asking is, go back to the 10 year old YOU and think about your new year, party and the resolutions you had in your childhood. remember any? I do remember my resolutions 10-11 years back (seems funny to me, now) I also asked few of my friends about theirs. Do you remember when you were in school and would pray for more pocket money or for many more gifts in the next year to come? of course you did! isn't it? Haha, I surely did :p

Some of the resolutions which really fancies me even today -
1. I will study more

Directly proportional to - > better marks - > parents happy - > gifts/trips -> more playing time? As the new year would approach I would pray to god; Oh God! I will surely study for my exam this time, much more than I did last year, I promise.

2. I promise I won't bite my nails.

Oh this one is my favorite. I haven't swear by my no-nail-biting resolution even today. Me - "This new year I promise that I won't bite my nails". One week down and I am back to *bite* *bite* *bite*
haha! not that I hate long nails but.. ahh never mind.

3. I will eat less.

Pastries *gulp*
Pizzaaaaa *gulp*
hotel food *gulp*
chips and Ice creams *gulp*
I eat too much, from the next year I won't. I want to be like that girl with a perfect figure :P

4. I would exercise daily - I want to be slim and healthy

This resolution is everybody's favorite and not just of a 10 year old. Its not just new year but an every-alternate-day resolution. You see that roadside yummy food and there goes your diet resolution - shifted to - amm, next year?

5. I will listen to my parents

6. I will take care of my heart and that of the ones' who love me

This Resolution should be carefully followed and should be followed. Why? Because all it takes to be happy in life is to make someone else happy :)

Tips and Tricks to survive Doomsday

Few hours to go. Here goes my tricks and tips to survive this very- much-awaited doomsday (people have literally spent this whole month just talking about this);
Read on..

1. Start digging a tunnel as soon as you are home from your work or college.
Tunnel would be great in case you need to stay unhurt for days.

2. Marry a Cruise owner, overnight. If you are in Goa or Mumbai this would be easy.
Start your journey to the Cape of Good Hope as soon as the marriage ceremony is over. Make it fast.

3. See if you can reach a secret hideout and stay there until the next life age starts. Keep loads of food in stock, a laptop with the movie ice-age loaded. May be handy?

 

4. Get an R1. Spend all your life's wealth on petrol and keep going. One day you will reach the safe place. Be a little fast or that Hayabusa guy will overtake you.

5. Ask Christian Grey for his Tango Charlie (with him) and fly out. [Ref. 50 shades of Grey]

6. Kingfisher is in budget now, buy one? On loan would be great! May be Mallya gives you a lamborghini free. Jeez! :D

7. Get a big pack of Kurkure, 2ltr bottle of mountain dew - darr ke aage jeet hai? ;) Sit and watch Titanic with your family and friends. The people on board will come back for you. Remember?

 

Doomsday is not gonna happen, atleast not tomorrow. I know you all will be safe and reading my blog on Saturday  Since you are gonna survive do not kill me for this stupid post.

The Christmas Month (: Smiles and Surprises

A weekend actually feels good. I mean when you in college you hardly have a weekend, but when you are working you have it! That is the ONLY perk of working, gosh! I am 2 weeks into internship and saying this, haha :D

So one of my favorite month is here; December - I Love it! The winter (so-called-winter of Mumbai), colorful sweaters, jackets and cozy nights in quilts <3 Everybody loves it, right?

I have back-2-back three surprises for all of you on my blog this month. One is already LIVE on Faceboo, Check Surprise No.1 :)

I also love December for the Christmas and New Year. I don't celebrate Christmas but putting up a Xmas tree always fascinates me. The color Green, Red, stories of Santa Claus, Putting up stockings, getting gifts and yummy cakes and candies <3 Everybody loves Christmas, isn't it? :D

Few more days to go. I am already in the mood!

Been away, will be back soon

Hi everyone. I have been off-blogging since a long time now. But, I will be back real soon.
I hope you all enjoyed Navratri, Durga Puja and Dusshera :)

This is mid of the week, then in the 1st week of November my college trip coming up and yes, 20 days to Diwali - Relatives coming home :) So much to look forward to.
