To the Wom'e'n I Love :)

Who said love happens just once? Love happens so many times. First with parents, siblings, friends, that special someone, more friends and so on... Its a feeling which never sets in, love is forever.

This post is dedicated to the love(s) of my life; the Wom'e'n I Love <3

Behind every girl is another girl with whom she not just shares her wardrobe, endless gossips, relationship talks but shares a bond of a sister; a sister she never had :)

"We all have that one friend, who is totally opposite to us."

That one friends in my life is - Ramani. We have had our share of night stays, birthday parties, hanging out, silly pictures, frowning upon and supporting each other in all times. If she hates someone, I hate him/her too, its like automatic and we never really wanna know the reason why.

"People who are closest to you know exactly how you feel when you give them that look!"

 

To me that friend is - Shikha Malwe. She knows me right through me. A simple girl who asks nothing from life but happiness for her family and loved ones. She is that 4am friend who would message a 10-message space long text the next morning just to say sorry. Yeah that's Shikha, she might get senti and emo at times but she is a sweetheart! :*

Not that I would indulge in this but I know If I may, she'll be there for that, to accompany me.

"When something awful happens and you need to get drunk, there will be one friend who would totally support it."

To me that friend is - Kenali Mehta.

This girl by the way, is totally pissed off on me for not meeting her and going out since a really long time considering that both of us were inseparable in our 3rd year of college! But she knows I am there for her no matter what :) I bumped into her few days back and her smile made realise - some people never really change, they are there to meet you on the course of life... afterall, Life is about meeting the ones you love, halfway... :)

"When you are having an emotional turmoil and your friend is nowhere to be found, you WILL go insane."
Well I do, when Ruchika Mishra is nowhere to be found. I have had such times with her when I leave her a heartbreaking text or a sad message and this girl doesn't reply for a week straight. But when she does, it makes me restore in my system - why I love her :D

She is a friend since 9 years, the day we were in 8th std. I remember I found a friend in her when we would spend our times in Music room rehearsing for regional level dance or song competitions. We both hate Maths :P and we both Love Harry Potter! #sigh
I remember those afternoons spent in cyber cafe to read about harry potter and endless plannings to write him a fan mail, we never did though.

"When you need an ego boost, she will pour you wine and tell you you're pretty."

In my case, the girl I am talking about here won't take me for wine but would be more than glad to offer me her Dilli ke Gol Gappe and Chole Kulche :D

I remember those weekends walking and shopping and eating and talking on delhi streets! deciding what to buy and what not to, coming back home and realising what I should have bought and didn't. And to that; Miss. Shivani saying," Oye koi baat nahi yaar! Kal fir chaliyo shopping!" ;) How much I miss her for this! <3

"When she would fix your problem and not you."

Foram and Unnati - love both of them! Foram is my honeybunch; our innumerable gtalk chats are a testimony to that! ;) Be it late night assignments or last minute exam preps, exchanging notes over chats or staying up late to help in each other's projects; we have had or share of helping out and letting the best foot forward for each other when one of us needed the other the most!

This post can never be complete without the 2 most important girls of my life - My Mother and my elder sister :)

If I ask, they'll be brutally true about where I stand in life. My critics, support and my life - these two women makes my world prettier with their beautiful heart :)

They wouldn't let the problems touch me but would dive in and take it out before the waves touch the shore. They would see right through me and I know when I am doing wrong and where I can improve. We often fight, but what's sea without a ship and what's love without a little disagreement? :)

Thanks to not just the women mentioned above but all those whose presence in my life has brought a difference :)

Not just a word but world :)

How many of you have that friend who could do anything for you? I feel all of you reading this would say yes. Each one of us has that friend who is our world, our secret diary, the one who could blackmail you with all the deepest secrets and yet be the one you never stop confiding in.

A friend is someone who knows all about and loves you anyway!

Friend; its not just a word but a world to many of us. They take our tantrums and still accept us the way we are. Friends, not just a loved-by-all TV Show but a bond which lasts forever. True friends are not easy to find, you don't go and look for one, it comes to you. Like how they say True love comes to you and you don't run behind it.

Friend; a watchful protector? No, I am not talking about The Dark Knight even if my line is very much inspired by him. Don't you think friends somehow know what's wrong with you or what's troubling you without you even mentioning it? I have always wondered how my friend calls me the day I am actually feeling low and need her/him the most.

Friends are not just someone who you hangout with or send a message on days like today; but they are your second self. They are like that VISA; priceless BUT expiry-less! Not everyday you find someone who looks into your eyes and says - C'mon tell me what's wrong, I know something is. And you melt. You melt like you have been waiting for someone to come and ask you this.

All friends are special; be it school, college, office or the ones you never studied with but always sticked on to!

The first time I saw this movie; Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (yeah, its my favorite), I dreamt of having a best friend like Kajol and SRK are in the movie. Since then, I made a lot of friends and feel blessed to have some still with me since my childhood. And then I met someone in college. He is like that watchful protector, a silent guardian, someone like SRK is to Kajol, someone with whom I fight a lot but he somehow sees right through me, Yes! bang On! :) Well lets just call him The Batman, he loves when he is called that :P Isn't it Gaurav ;)

Friends; they don't believe in distance. All they believe in is the bond yous hare with them. My school time friends; College friends; the Delhi GF - Miss. Shivani :D, The Goa GF - Miss. Ruchika, The Mumbai GF - Miss. Ramani who is soon gonna go away to US and would come back only after 2years :( The other Mumbai GF who is not in the city today - Miss. Shikha! Well, I Love all of them! <3

I want to mention my awesomest and the deadliest childhood group - Linson, Sarath, Srinath, Ashish, Monika, Wrick, Sravanti, Meghna; guys I Love you all :*

Suhail, Kaushik, Ankit, Anshuman, Varun and Dipankar - my Mumbai Buddies :D Guys, you rock! B-)

People who stay close and I didn't meet over the past 1 year, I am sorry. I should have. Foram, Unnati, Kenali, Sayali, Deepika and Nidhi.

In this fast paced, no time outside phones and TV and Laptops hardly 2-3 of us would actually go and meet our friends. May be we will call or send a text? Send an e-card or may be a video chat? Belated meetings or celebrating Friendship Day? In all this, did you even try meeting them personally? You should. I didn't and I realise I should have. 
if you still can, get out of your homes and go meet that friend who gives that smile on your face when he/she says - What's wrong with you Ugly face? :D

Go on, pick up the phone and call that friend is distant city; put on those chappals and ring the door bell of you nearby friend! All it takes is one step from your side and the rest will be taken by your friend :) Afterall, its all about meeting the ones you love halfway ^_^

A feeling of nostalgia sets in as I sit to pen down (I mean type down) my first post here…

Life goes by on the wings of time. Not long back, you were in school and then the college came along; it’s like saying goodbye to school friends wasn’t just enough.

College Life promises a lot of things; fun, enjoyment, freedom and the friends we make for a lifetime. Semester by semester goes, lectures, submissions, hangouts, birthday parties, sleepovers, night outs, IVs, road trips, photo sessions, college fests and of course Semester exams!

The last few months in College feels like end of the world. Last semester, Farewell and then in midst of all, infinite promises to your friends and vowing to meet and have fun forever even after college gets over.

In the last few months, it’s like if we could start all over again. Suddenly, every night and day you are flooded with nostalgia, memories keep flashbacking in your mind, oh! And then how you remind your friends of the days you had with them in your very first year in college; sailing the journey from Strangers to Friends, Friends to Best Friends, Crushes to Lovers, Friends to Enemies and vice versa too. You wonder how a group of 4 became 8 and then 70 after a stupid second year IV (Industrial visit), as if being in small group wasn’t your cup of tea. From the first year to the last year, you travel to a time where college friends become your family and somehow you stop boasting about your school friends. :P

You become the king of campus in your final year!

Project Discussions (read, group clashes), Heartbreaks, and egoism, gives you a reason or two to hate your life but then when that stupid friend comes with that stupid smile, your heart melts and the life seems alright, yet again!

Time changes, seasons go by and we develop an everlasting bond. As we say good bye in this final year, no matter how strong we are, try to hold back those tears. We all know this time eventually comes, years flows by but memories remain, faces and names stay the same, and as we go out into a world unknown – we realise there’s no place like college – the place we call our second home.

But what possibly the future may hold? Lots of Memories to treasure, a point from where we can never turn back, place we will never forget and friends who will stay in our hearts forever! Lets have lot of fun in our last year of college... and click lots of Moments.. 

Goes the famous saying... We did not know that we were creating memories, we were just having fun!
