The One-sided Love

(Contest Entry for: http://www.indiblogger.in/topic.php?topic=58)
I remember going to a men's barber with my father when i was a child. My mother did not let me grow my hairs (they were not healthy). I used to wear clips and hairbands and would love to have more each passing day as my love for long hairs grew day by day. Not that I was influenced by the fairy-tales and the princesses having really long golden thick locks but the the feeling of your hairs touching your shoulder and moving your fingers through them, well I wanted to live that!

Years went by and I reached secondary. Now my hairs were no more boy-cut but a bob-cut, still far from having a long pony tail or a cute braid. I hated oily hairs then and do now, too (who doesn't?) :D
The hatred was mutual, my hairs would never become strong and thick... Every time I would shampoo, the hairs would become soft and lovely... wish that time pauses!

Time moves on, I came to Mumbai. Hairs became lovely (for a change). Not that I would style them but I started loving my hairs. The one-sided love finally seems fading, sitting here running my fingers through my hairs, wishing for a True Love to happen soon; but NOT one-sided. and that is how I found an end to my hair problems, by falling in love with them...

Eventually Everything ends...

My Sister catch the recap episodes of Castle every weekend (blame her tight office schedule). She is so much in love with this TV Series that no one can watch television on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

So what is it about Castle?
Well, Castle is an American comedy-drama television series, which premiered on ABC on March 9, 2009. The series is produced jointly by Beacon Pictures and ABC Studios. Created by Andrew W. Marlowe it primarily traces the lives of Richard Castle, a best-selling mystery novelist and NYPD Detective Kate Beckett as they solve various unusual crimes in New York City.

I generally avoid watching too  much TV unless any interesting movie or my favourite serial(s) is coming but today I happened to watch the Season 4 Finale of Castle... and the graduation speech by Alexis Castle bought me to tears. A recent graduate myself I could somehow connect to the speech.
Alexis Castle?  Alexis, Richard Castle's teenage daughter by his first wife Meredith.
Eventually Everything ends... is what her speech actually contained;

Change is never easy, but in the wise-beyond-her-years words of Alexis Castle, it is inevitable. Her speech was beautiful, structured with awesome words and decorated with pure sentiments...

'' There is a universal truth we all have to face, whether we want to or not, everything eventually ends. As much as I've looked forward to this day, I've always disliked endings. Last day of summer, the final chapter of a great book, parting ways with a close friend. But endings are inevitable, Leaves fall, you close the book. You say goodbye. Today is one of those days for us. Today we say goodbye to everything that was familiar, everything that was comfortable. We're moving on. But just because we're leaving, and that hurts, there's some people who are so much a part of us, they'll be with us no matter what.
They are our solid ground. Our North Star. And the small clear voices in our hearts that will be with us … always.  ''
Lyric video for the graduation speech Alexis Castle delivered
in the Season 4 Finale of Castle, "Always."

True, Endings are Inevitable; even I hate endings but Every Ending has a new Beginning like the end of summer is a beginning to Monsoon (:
and like the end of Season 4 has the beginning of Season 5... my sister is super happy about this :D

Bollywood over Regional Cinema

Everyday we see a remake of a movie from down south. Bollywood is making a lot of money and has taken over the Indian market. But, even though the Bollywood market is flourishing, Regional Cinema has something which keeps it intact.

I have tried and laid down some points on Bollywood v/s The Regional Cinema :)
